Product range

Our scrapers are already used in many municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. Thanks to our stable deck plate design and the modular design, different base and floating scum removal systems can be combined with one another. A later retrofit to the systems is also possible and straightforward, even after many years.

Circular scrapers

Our circular scrapers are supplied as standard with a durable ball rotary collar, high-quality slip-ring assembly and stainless-steel control cabinet mounted on the bridge.

We offer our circular scrapers in the following versions:

The scrapers are designed with rake blades as an approximate logarithmic spiral or as a louvre blade. The blades are executed as a stable plate-edge design and have rubber-wiping blades at the bottom and side as well as water-lubricated rollers, which automatically adjust to the running radius. If desired, the base scrapers can be swung over the water surface by means of manual cable winches. Alternatively, the base scrapers can be made maintenance-free by a rigid attachment to the bridge.

Possible base scraper versions:

  • Logarithmic spiral or louvre blade
  • Swingable (non-wearing) or towed (with rollers)
  • Removable
  • With or without wear notification

All scrapers can be fitted with wheel drive units with rubber, Vulkollan® or a positive drive system (pinion, rail and gear rack). Every scraper system can be combined with any floating scum scraping system. Paddle unit, automatic skimming drain, guidance plate with stationary collecting chamber or other agreed systems are possible.

The rotary suction scrapers are fitted with suction nozzles or suction tubes with V-plates. Depending on the client’s wishes, the scum can be delivered into a scum drain using pumps or through evacuated siphon tubes. The tubes can be individually adjusted, and vacuum easily generated, via our special discharge bowls on the siphon tubes.

Possible base scraper versions:

  • Suction nozzles or V-plates
  • Siphon tube or pump
  • Automatic or manual evacuation

All scrapers can be fitted with wheel drive units with rubber, Vulkollan® or a positive drive system (pinion, rail and gear rack). Every scraper system can be combined with any floating scum scraping system. Paddle unit, automatic skimming drain, guidance plate with stationary collecting chamber or other agreed systems are possible.

Rotary scrapers with central drive offer total winter security and in price terms represent time and again an attractive alternative. The tanks can also be designed without a central structure, which significantly saves on construction costs. The simple structure reduces maintenance expenditure to a minimum.

Possible versions:

  • Blind scrapers or logarithmic spiral
  • Fixed or removable
  • With or without floating matter extraction with guidance scraper and stationary collecting chamber
  • With or without intake cylinder
  • With or without mechanical or electric overload protection

Rabble rake devices, also known as concentrators, are used to thicken sludge. The simple design with central drive saves construction and operating costs and reduces maintenance expenditure to a minimum.

Possible versions:

  • Blind scrapers
  • With or without rabble bars
  • With or without floating matter extraction with guidance scraper and stationary collecting chamber
  • With or without intake cylinder
  • With or without mechanical or electric overload protection

Longitudinal scrapers

Our longitudinal scrapers for use in grit and grease chambers, clarification tanks or sedimentation basins are supplied as standard with stable guidance systems, power supplies and a stainless steel control cabinet mounted on the bridge.

We offer our longitudinal scrapers in the following versions:

Grit chamber scrapers can be designed with or without grease scraper system. The grease scraper system can be designed with manual or automatic lifting gear. In addition, all grit chambers can be designed as plate or suction scrapers. Use on covered tanks is possible for all systems.

Possible base scraper versions:

  • Grit scraping system with pump or mammoth lifter.
  • Pump rigid with flexible suction hose or deflection for sand mound detection
  • Swivelling base scraper with lifting device

All scrapers can be fitted with wheel drive units with rubber, Vulkollan® or a positive drive system (pinion, rail and gear rack).

ongitudinal scrapers are supplied with scraping plates made of stable plate-edge design and durable water-lubricated running wheels. Each base scraper has its own lifting gear, which is used to lift or raise the scrapers or moved if desired to intermediate positions.

Possible base scraper versions:

  • Base scrapers can be lifted or swung out
  • Camshaft gear for intermediate positions (for driving below drains)
  • Base rollers behind the scraper or built into the scraping plate in order to cope with steep tank gradients

All scrapers can be fitted with wheel drive units with rubber, Vulkollan® or a positive drive system (pinion, rail and gear rack).

Every scraper system can be combined with any floating scum scraping system. Floating scum scraping systems with single or double scrapers, for ramps or floating scum drains can be easily installed with manual or automatic lifting gear on our scrapers.

The longitudinal suction scrapers are fitted with suction nozzles or suction tubes with V-plates. Depending on the client’s wishes, the scum can be delivered into a scum drain using pumps or through evacuated siphon tubes. The tubes can be individually adjusted, and easily maintain their vacuum even when the scum drain is emptied, via our special discharge bowls on the siphon tubes.

Possible base scraper versions:

  • Suction nozzles or V-plates
  • Siphon tubes or pump
  • Automatic or manual evacuation

All scrapers can be fitted with wheel drive units (rubber or Vulcanise) or a positive drive system (rail and gear rack). Every scraper system can be combined with any floating scum scraping system. Floating scum scraping systems with single or double scrapers, for ramps or floating scum drains can be easily installed with manual or automatic lifting gear on our scrapers.

Chain scrapers for continuous movement of base and floating scum in steel, stainless steel or plastic. The scrapers consist of a stationary drive unit, which drives the conveyor chain shaft via a drive chain. The simple technology allows a minimum of maintenance expenditure.

Our scraper bars, up to 8m in length, are especially robust and designed to meet the highest requirements.

The use of automatic chain tighteners is possible upon request.

Cable pull scrapers are optimised for base and floating scum removal in longitudinal tanks. Base and floating scum scrapers are raised and lowered via an ingenious mechanism so that only one drive motor is required for the entire scraper system. Reversing is activated by two proximity sensors in the tank. All other components can be set up outside the tank.

The drive motor is designed with mechanical overload protection as standard. The scraper can be guided in two rails that are attached on or in the tank.

Advantages:

  • Tanks can be covered (no odour emission)
  • No electricity within the vicinity of the water
  • Base and floating scum drainage can be positioned at different points on the front side
  • No electric lift devices for base or floating scum scraper
  • Hoisting drum drive outside the tank - makes easy maintenance possible.

Easy to retrofit

Due to the free choice of floating scum drain, old bridges with bridge scrapers or chain scrapers can easily be replaced by cable pull scrapers.

For instance, a cover can be attached to the rails.

Scraper components and tank equipment

We offer various scraper and tank components for proprietary and third-party equipment.

The fully automatic skim drain uses a float to always adjust to the current water level of the tank. This ensures that the skim edge has a constant depth of immersion and that the water component in the skim drain is minimised. The pump is controlled as a rule via a stop-start cycle control in the control cabinet.

As an option, the system can be supplemented by a floating scum detector in order to further optimise the extraction of floating matter.

Floating scum removal system specifications

  • Floating scum skim drain, l = 2.5 m, when removal system is operating automatically adjusts to the water level of the secondary sedimentation basin.
  • Submersible pump Q = 10 l/s
  • Stripper for baffle side and small, rigidly fixed feeding scraper inside

Materials: Construction parts, wetted, made of stainless steel 1.4571

The floating scum scraper system is used for extracting floating matter from the water surface.

The front edge of the floating scum scraper system is adjusted to the level of the water surface via hand wheels. The paddle unit is driven by a gear motor and moves the floating scum via a drain into the collector. The floating matter pump is activated by floating switches.

Floating scum removal system specifications:

  • Skim drain paddle unit, l = 2, 4 or 6 m
  • Pump box, 0.8 x 0.8 x 0.8 m
  • Submersible pump Q = 10 l/s
  • Stripper for baffle side and small, rigidly fixed feeding scraper inside

Materials: Construction parts, wetted, made of stainless steel 1.4571

Manual and automatic devices for clearing round and polygonal drains, inside and outside, in addition to baffles.

With their vertically rotating roller brushes, the drain cleaning devices are suitable for motorised cleaning of the drain base and the side walls of internal and external drainage channels and baffles.

The brush carriage sits below the bridge and is therefore optimally aligned towards the drainpipes, which are arranged in a star pattern in the middle of the tank.

The brush carriage can be positioned over the drainpipes using the switch lug assembled on the side of the tank and a cleaning process activated.

For maintenance purposes and brush replacement, the brush carriage can easily be lifted onto the bridge.

For removing dirt and snow from tracks.

The basic version can be expanded in a modular fashion:

  • Lifting motor instead of hand wheel
  • De-icing facility with hand wheel
  • De-icing facility with solenoid valve
  • Controls on the device instead of in the scraper's control cabinet

The positive drive system consists of a rail with S profile and gear rack.

The rail system is attached with brackets to the tank head or existing track cover. Our bracket system allows thermal expansion and is adjustable for height.

The scraper is driven via a pinion built into the chassis.

Rail wheels with/without wheel flanges are used.

The gear rack drive is used for both circular and longitudinal scrapers.

Advantages:

  • Safe operation in winter
  • No further costs such as de-icers or heating costs for track housing
  • Also suitable for “old” tank heads as a retrofit
